EOR Solutions India
EOR Solutions in India for Global Hiring and Staffing
EOR solutions let a company employ people in India without setting up its own entity. The Employer of Record becomes the legal employer. It issues the contract, runs payroll, files statutory returns and manages benefits, while the client directs the work.
What EOR Solutions Mean
An Employer of Record (EOR) is a third-party company that acts as the legal employer of a client’s staff. In India, that means we sign the employment contract, pay salaries in rupees and carry the legal duties of an Indian employer.
We handle: contracts, payroll, statutory filings, benefits, onboarding and exits.
The client handles: hiring decisions, daily work, goals, tools and performance.

EOR Solutions for Hiring
An EOR suits companies that want to hire in India quickly, test the market or build a small team without a local entity. Our EOR services start from $49 per employee per month.
A client’s own entity makes more sense once the team is large, or when it needs to contract with Indian customers directly. Many companies start with an EOR and move later. See EOR vs setting up your own subsidiary in India.
Recruitment, IT staffing and background checks can be added when needed. A company that already has an Indian entity can use our payroll and PEO services for its current team.

Common Questions About EOR Solutions in India
What are EOR solutions?
EOR solutions are services where an Employer of Record becomes the legal employer of a client’s staff in India. We issue contracts, pay salaries and handle statutory compliance. The client directs the daily work.
How much do EOR solutions in India cost?
Our EOR services start from $49 per employee per month. The final cost depends on the services added and the size of the team. Our EOR pricing breakdown for 2026 explains each cost line.
Does a company need an entity in India to use EOR solutions?
No. We act as the legal employer, so a company can hire before it sets up an entity. Our guide to employing workers in India without a local branch explains how. Our EOR vs subsidiary comparison shows when setting up an entity makes sense.
What contributions apply to an employee hired through an EOR in India?
Provident Fund at 12% from the employer and 12% from the employee, with mandatory coverage on wages up to 25,000 rupees a month from 17 September 2026. ESI at 3.25% from the employer and 0.75% from the employee on wages up to 21,000 rupees a month, where it applies. Gratuity after five years of service. Professional tax depends on the state. Our statutory benefits guide explains each one.
Can EOR be combined with recruitment or IT staffing?
Yes. Many clients start with IT Staffing Services or Recruitment Services to find people, then employ them through our EOR service. Clients can also add Background Checks and Verification before the offer.
Which Indian states are covered?
We cover 28 states and 8 union territories. Our Employer of Record company in India state guide shows the labour rules, taxes and benefits for each one.
What is the difference between EOR and PEO?
With an Employer of Record, we are the sole legal employer of the client’s team, and no Indian entity is needed. With a PEO, the client shares employer duties with us and needs its own registered Indian entity. See PEO Services India for how that model works.
What changed with India's labour codes?
The four labour codes came into force on 21 November 2025. Central rules were notified on 8 May 2026. Many state rules are still being finalised, so some obligations depend on the state where the employee works. Read our guide to India’s new labour codes and the state-by-state status.
